
Gucci Gator!
This photo was taken nearly before I finished and completed the drawing of a scaled in size and anatomically accurate alligator skull. Aesthetically I thought it would look great if I did a skull with tremendous detail but I wanted to do an animal that coincides with luxury brands. At first a cow head would make sense but too many brands use leather for so many different reasons. Alligator skin on the other hand is for more exclusive high end designer brands like Gucci. There

Darth Vuitton!
This photo was taken mid way through my six hour session reaching almost 100 hours total of repetitive drawing of the iconic "Darth Vader" character in the world wide known Star Wars movie. As a kid I was fascinated with most of the "Darth" side but of course in love with the major characters too. I decided to do a twist on this piece using a couple iconic figures and symbolic images like Louis Vuitton's most recognized monogram and imprint it on Vader's helmet. The relations

Grenade!
When I was a boy a few of my favorite toys and heros were toy soldiers. By far my favorite amongst the voriety of the little, plastic green men was the "Grenade Thrower". He had an elogant pose and form that I liked almost poetic looking while carrying two deadly weopons especially the explosive baseball like bomb in his hand. Checkmate!
This photo was taken Day 3 after I finished a six hour long sketch session. At this stage of my work I start to get more excited about the piece itself and a feeling of early success. Aesthetically you can see the many values and layers of ink all being tedeously manipulated to appear blended and shaded in.
